It has been a challenging year with the hives swarming, all hives going queenless at one time or another, a hive almost totally lost from finding a hive sprayed with pesticides. I managed to harvest about 14 frames. I didn't not take the uncapped honey. The bees are still filling frames with honey. Just keep trying and hive management is the key. I manage to keep all my hives alive and made a couple of splits. Great learning! It is getting easier with time.
