I have a number of Non-native invasive trees on a property I just bought and will need to gradually replace them. Any ideas for flowering, bee friendly, bushy native trees?
Hello everyone, I need help relocating a small be hive that lives in a small box i installed on a tree a year ago. and now, my wife wanted a 2 deep bee hives to encourage more bees and avoid swarming. can anyone help in this process? We live in the wellington area.
thank you long story.2 years ago i had a screech owl nest box installed, the bees took it before the owls, so i made a post here and someone helped me remove the bees. My wife wasnt happy about that, so i made a box for them and hand it on the tree, a few days later it was occupied by bees, and every few months a swarm takes off. My wife loves butterflies and bees, and love helping them, so now i'm building a bee hive with 2 deep units for broods. and we want to relocate the bees to the new hive. Thanks again
will an HOA let you keep bees? just curious.
