Ground cover the feed the bees.

I remember the post on Buckwheat.  I'm in the Acreage and there are not that many flowers here to feed the bees.  What would be a good Perennial ground cover that I could plant to feed the bees?  I was thinking of Clover, but I do not know the height.  I'm hoping for something that could be kept at 8 inches or so, so I can walk through my yard.Anyone have experience with "Lawn Clover"?…See More

Increasing Beekeeper Association Dues

I would like to discuss increasing the Association Dues by $15 per year.  The current dues are $20; the Association only gets $5 of the dues; $15 goes to the State Beekeeper's Association.  The $5 is not enough for the Association to do much.The Association operated for many years without a budget.  The Association has brought in speakers with national reputations without a cost for members and guests.  These speakers come with a large cost for speaker fees, travel costs and lodging.  However,…See More
