New Screened Bottom Board

Just put my homemade screened bottom board under my hive!  Didn't do a hive check but on old bottom board and under top cover, only saw a few SHB.  The Better Beetle Blaster (BBB) traps I put in yesterday didn't have any signs of SHB.  I guess those first traps I put in a couple weeks ago did the trick.  Tomorrow I'll slide some sort of sticky board under the screened bottom board to see if anything shows up.

Hi Sierra. My girlfriend and I have been passive members for a while now but would like to start getting prepared for bees this spring. I recall at one of the last meetings someone said you were making hive boxes now. Is that correct? If so I'd like to buy one before Christmas if that's possible.
